Hi, I'm Ginny and I was just recently diagnosed with grade 3 lobular invasive breast cancer. I'm currently married and have a handsome 4 y.o. son. I've worked as an RN in various facets of the field and multiple locations in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region. I hold a BSN and I'm in the process of completing my MS and family nurse practitioner certification. Like many of you, cancer has hit various members of my family and friends ever since I can remember. Although the diagnosis was a blindsided shock, constantly being aware of my body changes and performing monthly self breast exams allowed me to catch this as early as possible. I am grateful for the never-ending and unconditional support of my family, friends and peers.
