It has been a few months since I last updated this site. I am VERY happy to report that I have completed my treatment course for the cancer! CHEMO-DONE RADIATION-DONE!
My last radiation was on Friday. I celebrated with family and friends. I am very grateful for all the support I recieved over the last 8 1/2 months. Everything from cards and letters, to meals, Jack sitting and housecleaning! EVERYTHING is very much appreciated by me and my family.
Chad's arm is healing and we hope he will be back to the firestation this week. Jack is recovering from Mono, he is also feeling much better.
I am working part time in the ER at Virginia Beach General and I hope to be back in school to complete my Family Nurse Practitioner this Fall. :)
In two weeks I will have my tumor markers checked (This is blood work) and it will confirm i am cancer free!
At the end of June I have scheduled a hysterectomy. This will decrease my chances of recurrence considerably.

Thank you again for all of your support.

I will be at the RELAY FOR LIFE with my ER friends on June 6th & 7th.

I am also planning another hat party for October. stay tunned.
